Diwali 2026 falls on Sunday, 8 November, and the gifting season starts weeks before that. If you are tired of giving dry-fruit boxes and sweets that are forgotten in a week, a cutlery set is one of the few gifts that gets used at every single meal — and reminds the family of you every time.
Here is a practical guide to choosing a Diwali cutlery gift that looks premium, lasts for years and fits your budget.
Why cutlery makes a better Diwali gift
- It is used daily. Unlike décor items, a spoon and fork set goes straight to the dining table.
- It suits every age and every home. Newly-weds, parents, colleagues, relatives — everyone eats.
- It looks festive. Gold, rose gold and rainbow finishes shine on a Diwali dinner table.
- It lasts. MANISHAWARE sets are made from 18/10 food-grade stainless steel that resists rust.
1. Gold cutlery — the classic Diwali choice
Gold is the colour of Lakshmi Puja and the most requested finish for festival gifting. A gold cutlery set in mirror or festive design looks rich in its gift box and pairs with any crockery.
2. Festive design — made for celebrations
Our festive design cutlery has a celebratory handle detail that feels special on a festival table and keeps getting used every day afterwards.
3. Rose gold — for someone special
For sisters, mothers, and couples, rose gold cutlery is softer and more personal than yellow gold.
4. Rainbow — for the fun, colourful home
A rainbow cutlery set is a conversation starter and a great pick for younger families and friends.
How many pieces should I gift?
Count one place setting per person. A 4 Pcs or 5 Pcs set is a thoughtful token, 16–20 Pcs suits a family of four, and 24–30 Pcs is a complete table for six. Not sure? Browse cutlery sets for 4 people — the most popular size for family gifting.
